FRP pultruded profile

Introduction:

FRP pultruded profiles manufactured using a pultrusion process combining 50% to 70% glass fiber with a resin (such as unsaturated polyester or epoxy) Its tensile strength reaches 300 to 500 Mpa. three to four times that of steel. Its density is only 1.6 to 2.0 g/cm3, making it to 70% lighter than metal pipes. It is resistant to acid and alkali corrosion (with a service life exceeding 20 years) and exhibits non-magnetic insulation.

It is primarily used in chemical pipelines (such as acid pipelines), municipal cable protection, power bridges, and marine engineering (resistance to salt spray). When selecting pipe, considerations should be given to compatibility with the media(Vinyl ester resin is resistant to strong acids), operating temperature range (Typically -40 to 80 ℃), and installation method (flange or socket joint).

Product Type:

Common diameters of found tubes are 20-50mm (Small diameter precision tubes) 65-200mm (industrial standard tubes) and the colors include yellow, white, green, black, blue, red, etc.

Common special-shaped pultruded profiles include Japanese tubes, square tubes and other special cross-sectional structures. such as 160x160mm, 200×200mm and other specifications.

Specifications:

Diameter Range: Small diameter pipe: DN20-DN65 (pultrusion);

Large diameter pipe: DN100-DN4000 (winding/molding)

Pressure Rating: Conventional: 0.1MPa-2.5MPa, up to 2.5MPa (chemical high-pressure applications)

Length Standards: Pultruded pipe: 6 meters/piece (continuous molding); Winding pipe: 4 meters/piece (section assembly)

Stiffness Grade: SN500-SN10000, with SN2500 and above commonly used for municipal drainage.

Power industry: FRP pultruded profiles are used as cable Protective sheaths. They have high insulation and corrosion resistance and are suitable for laying underground cable in urban power grids, industrial parks, airports, railways, etc.

Municipal environmental engineering used in rainwater and sewage drainage systems, the smooth internal structure can reduce scaling and improve drainage efficiency.

It performs well in sewage treatment plants and Other fields agricultural irrigation (strong weather resistance), marine engineering (resistance to seawater corrosion), building drainage (lightweight and easy to install) seawater desalination projects.
