FRP tank

FRP Site fabricated huge tank

Introduction:

The FRP Site fabricated huge tank is manufactured using a site fabrication process, allowing the tank to be built directly at the installation location, eliminating transportation limitations for oversized tanks. Because we fabricate on-site, we bypass the logistical constraints of road transport.

The production process combines filament winding technology and hand lay-up reinforcement, ensuring excellent structural integrity and uniform wall thickness. During fabrication, layer-by-layer lamination and curing procedures are implemented to guarantee superior bonding between structural layers and corrosion-resistant liners.

Large Capacity and Customizable Dimensions:

FRP Site fabricated huge tank can reach extremely large diameters and heights, often exceeding the limits of transportable tanks.

FRP Site fabricated huge tank diameter is more than 4m, always fabricate at site because transportation limit. On-site winding of large Fiberglass vessels : diameter: DN4000~15000 mm; height ≤16 m; volume: 75~2000 m³.

The tank design can be fully customized according to client specifications, project site conditions, and process requirements.

Feature:

  1. High Strength-to-Weight Ratio: Despite their massive size, our FRP tanks are significantly lighter than reinforced concrete or steel. This reduces the cost of foundation engineering and allows for installation in areas with sensitive soil conditions or on rooftops.
  2. Outstanding chemical corrosion resistance suitable for aggressive industrial fluids.
  3. Excellent structural strength achieved through optimized fiberglass orientation.
  4. Long service life, typically exceeding 20–30 years under proper operating conditions.
  5. Low thermal conductivity helps maintain stable internal temperatures.

Application:

FRP site-fabricated tanks are particularly suitable for large-scale industrial storage projects where conventional tanks may face transportation limitations. Such us Large industrial storage systems in chemical industrial parks; Storage tanks used in mining and metallurgical plants; Tanks used in large-scale industrial water storage systems; Storage facilities for bulk liquid materials in manufacturing plants.

Because the tanks are fabricated directly on site, they can be designed to meet extremely large capacity requirements without transportation constraints.
